Red Sox Vs. Blue Jays Series Preview

In what’s been a disappointing season so far, the Boston Red Sox are looking to bounce back this week and take control of a division they haven’t had a clear hold over since the middle of 2021. To do it though, they’ll need to get through two AL East foes, both on the road. Tonight, the Sox cross the border for the first time this season, taking on a mighty hot Toronto Blue Jays club in the Rogers Centre. The bat’s have yet to take off, but this series would be a perfect time for them to. Boston will have to take on the heart of the Blue Jays rotation in games one and two, facing Jose Berrios and Kevin Gausman respectively. Things get a little easier in game three, but Ross Stripling has been pretty solid this year for the Jays, posting a 4.50 earned run average in 10 innings pitched. In game four, the bats will have one of their biggest opportunities to potentially regain dominance in the east, if they can through a red-hot Alek Manoah. This should be a fun series of baseball, filled with plenty of pitchers duels between two of the most exciting rotations in the AL East. Tune in tonight at 7:07 PM for game one.
